Honesty is the best policy

A milkman became very wealthy through dishonest means. He had to cross a river daily to reach the city where his customers lived. He mixed the water of the river generously with the milk that he sold for a good profit. One day he went around collecting the dues in order to celebrate the wedding of his son. With the large amount thus collected he purchased plenty of rich clothes and glittering gold ornaments. But while crossing the river the boat capsized and all his costly purchases were swallowed by the river. The milk vendor was speechless with grief. At that time he heard a voice that came from the river, “Do not weep. What you have lost is only the illicit gains you earned through cheating your customers.

Suspense and thrilling story of emily and dead grandmother

Alone one dark winter's night, Emily was sleeping cosily under her bed covers, when she heard a banging on the door. She got out of bed and shivered to the door. Emily opened the door and stepped onto the front porch, looking around. But nothing was there.....

Emily strolled around her little cottage to see if anything was there. She got back to her old ragged door and she was certain nothing was there. Suddenly she heard a noise. She thought it was a ghost but she knew ghosts didn't exist.

BANG!!! The door slammed behind her. Emily turned around and started thumping on the door "Let me in, let me in!" but it was no good. Finally, she had an idea. She went around her house and looked through the window, but the curtains were shut. Then she heard the same noise that she had already heard. Now she was positive it was a ghost.

She sat down on the dirty porch. When dawn was just breaking the door slowly creaked open. She cheered,"YES!" She walked in suddenly, she saw her dead great grandma. What was she doing here? As quiet as a mouse she said,"Hello." But her great grandma just stared at her.

Emily sat down while her grandma was still staring. Emily said, “Please leave me." Her grandma exclaimed in a ghostly voice, “No." Emily felt uncomfortable. Her grandma said, “Come with me!!' Emily shouted, “No!"

sports

sports are all usually forms of competitive physical activity or games which,[1] through casual or organised participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while providing enjoyment to participants, and in some cases, entertainment for spectators.[2] Usually the contest or tie-breaking methods, to ensure one winner and one loser. A number of such two-sided contests may be arranged in a tournament producing a champion. Many sports leagues make an annual champion by arranging games in a regular sports season, followed in some cases by playoffs. Hundreds of sports exist, from those between single contestants, through to those with hundreds of simultaneous participants, either in teams or competing as individuals. In certain sports such as racing, many contestants may compete, each against each other, with one winner.
game is between two sides, each attempting to exceed the other. Some sports allow a tie game; others provide
Sport is generally recognized as system of activities which are based in physical athleticism or physical dexterity, with the largest major competitions such as the Olympic Games admitting only sports meeting this definition,[3] and other organisations such as the Council of Europe using definitions precluding activities without a physical element from classification as sports.

                                                          Kinds of sports
According to the World Sports Encyclopedia (2003), there are 8,000 indigenous sports and sporting games. But in that  i know only 10% of it.The the  sports i know  is cricket ,kabaddi ,football, basketball, swimming, skating, tennis, hockey, running, archery, badminton, volleyball, throwball, baseball, canyoning, snooker and many more.

how sports help in personality development

Playing sport helps much more than in the physical aspects. It builds character, teaches thinking – analytical and strategic, leadership skills, goal setting and much more. You might encourage your child or people in general to play sports because being physically active is healthy for the mind and body. People who play sports also might learn character and behaviour traits that help fill out their personalities. Sports and games play an important role in the development of human personality.    sports and games certainly benefit both the mind and body and create discipline, team building, confidence and physical fitness.  Getting children involved in sport will help them get more active and also develop a healthier personality. Physically players develop their strength, speed, skill, stamina and flexibility but it also increases self‐esteem, builds social skills and leadership, increases resilience and inculcates values. When we are under stress from personal or work problems exercise through playing sports helps release pressure and tension in a healthy and controlled way. A player must learn not to lose their temper and morale even in the face of defeat because he/she needs to be calm and then try and perform better the next time. Players know that victory and defeat are the two aspects of the same coin. There is more joy in playing than in its end result. Sport trains one to accept defeat gracefully and move on. They learn that winning and losing are parts of life, one should not feel depressed and dishearten on losing, but move on and strive for more the next time.

Demonetisation of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes

From midnight of November 8, 2016, Rs. 500 and Rs.1000 will cease to be legal tender. "These notes are just papers from tomorrow," says the prime minister.

Taking the nation by surprise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday night announced demonetization of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 notes with effect from midnight, making these notes invalid in a major assault on black money fake currency and corruption.
In his first televised address to the nation, Mr. Modi said people holding notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 can deposit the same in their bank and post office accounts from November 10 till December 30
An interesting side effect here of India's demonetization plan. As we know, the Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes have been cancelled as legal tender, to be replaced by other notes and designs. There are limits on how much cash can be changed for cash (Rs 4,000, soon to fall to 2,000) but no limits upon what can be deposited in bank accounts. Of course, large deposits are going to be subject to tax scrutiny, rather the point of the exercise in fact. But what is interesting is that the flood of cash being deposited is such that it's actually bringing interest rates down. This is an interesting and welcome macroeconomic effect:

State Bank of India (SBI) reduced rates on deposits from one year to 455 days to 6.90%, down 15 basis points, while keeping the 7% rate for deposits between 211 days to one year unchanged. That may not be great news for those putting their money in banks but lending rates are likely to follow suit in a few weeks, possibly giving sluggish credit expansion a much-needed boost and shoring up growth. A basis point is 0.01
percentage point.
"All rates will fall," said SBI Chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya. "The bank has seen huge inflow of deposits but demand for credit has slowed down. Therefore, lending rates too will fall but after a gap."
